Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Kaushal Kishore called on Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan.

Aizawl 30th November 2022: Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Kaushal Kishore called on Governor Shri Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan, this evening.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati conveyed a cordial reception to Shri Kaushal Kishore and briefed him about the status of Mizoram. The two discussed various ongoing developmental projects in the state under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the hurdles in the way of implementation. The Union Minister informed the Governor about his visit to Lawngtlai, his meeting with Deputy Chief Minister and officials from Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation, Aizawl Municipal Corporation, SIPMIU, Aizawl Smart City Limited and assured that he will take necessary actions to fulfill the demands put up by the Government as well as the NGOs.

The Union Minister of State will leave Aizawl for Delhi tomorrow.
