    GOC-in-C, Eastern Command calls on Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati

    Aizawl, the 21st May, 2024: Lt. Gen. R.C Tiwari, UYSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Eastern Command paid a courtesy call to Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan, today.

    In this courtesy meeting, the Army Commander updated the Governor on the prevailing security situation in the border areas and the operational preparedness of Assam Rifles to meet all challenges. The Governor appreciated the role of Assam Rifles deployed in Mizoram including their outreach to the civil population.

    The Army Commander was accompanied by Major General S K Bhambhu, SM IG AR( EAST).
