    Governor Donates To Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

    Aizawl, the 9th December, 2024: As part of a fund collection drive on the occasion of the Armed Forces Flag Day, 2024, Mizoram Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati made generous donation towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) this forenoon.

    Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati warmly received officials from the Directorate of Sainik Welfare & Resettlement, the organizing body for Armed Forces Flag Day and donated fund aims for rehabilitation of battle casualties, the welfare of service personnels, their families, ex-servicemen and their families in dire straits.

    Armed Forces Flag Day was observed on December 7, 2024. On this memorable occasion, government officials and offices across the State generously contributed towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund and flag day materials were also sold to raise the funds. Since the Governor was on an official tour outside the state on the actual day, he made his contribution today.
