Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati inducts the new Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commissioner and Member of State Lok Ayukta at a Swearing-in Ceremony
Aizawl, the 5th October 2023: Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati administered oaths and inducted Pu John Neihlaia, a retired IPS, Pu Mangjangam Touthang, a retired IIS and Pu Lalsanglura, a retired MPS to the posts of Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commissioner and Member of Lok Ayukta, respectively. The swearing in ceremony was held at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, this afternoon.
After the warrants of appointments were read out by Chief Secretary Dr Renu Sharma, the new Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioner, Mizoram Information Commission as well as the Member of Lok Ayukta subscribed the oaths from the Governor.
Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga led the congregation of state’s high level dignitaries that included Deputy Chief Minister Pu Tawnluia, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State and the at the ceremony.
