Mamit, the 11th November 2022: As a part of his official programs in the district, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati met and greeted the selected beneficiaries under the schemes of PMAY(U) and PMUY in Mamit town.
Governor visited the completed house as well as the ongoing construction of the house under the PMAY(U) scheme. He had a warm interaction with the beneficiaries who shared their joy in having a nice house of their own and their appreciation of the assistance they received from the government. Governor congratulated the satisfied beneficiaries and told them that he also shared their happiness.
On the PMUY scheme, Governor elaborated that the scheme came because of the importance of health and well-being of women prioritized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the benefits of these two uplifting and empowering schemes must be enjoyed by all deserving citizens. In this connection, Governor urged the beneficiaries to share their experiences and their success stories with more people and their friends whom they feel are needing this assistance.
