Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati congratulates the water warrior award winner from Mizoram

Aizawl, the 7th March 2023: Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Mizoram, through Twitter’s handle, congratulated Pi HS Lalawmpuii, VCP of Sairep, Lunglei District, Mizoram on receiving the prestigious Swachh Sujal Shakti Samman water warrior award from the Hon’ble President of India at New Delhi.

Governor, in his congratulatory message, added, “Jal Shakti is incomplete without Naari Shakti. Jal Jeevan Mission empowers women as it is integral to the development of the country”.

Pi HS Lalawmpuii, President, Village Council of Sairep Village, Lunglei District, Mizoram was awarded the “Water Warrior” for her contribution to water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and cleanliness of water bodies.
