Governor Swears in Pi K. Lalrinzuali, IAS (Retd) as Member of Mizoram Public Service Commission

Aizawl, the 13th August, 2026: Mizoram Governor General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd), today administered the Oath of Office, Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Secrecy to Pi K. Lalrinzuali, IAS (Retd), who was sworn in as a Member of the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) at a ceremony held at the Durbar Hall, Lok Bhavan, Aizawl.

At the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Secretary Mr Khilli Ram Meena first read out the notification appointing Pi K. Lalrinzuali as a Member of the Mizoram Public Service Commission. Thereafter, the Governor administered the prescribed oaths and formally inducted her as a Member of the Mizoram Public Service Commission.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Mr Lalduhoma, Speaker Mr Lalbiakzama, Home Minister Mr K. Sapdanga, PWD Minister Mr Vanlalhlana, AH & Vety. Minister Mr C. Lalsawivunga, EF&CC Minister Mr Lalthansanga, Health & Family Welfare Minister Mrs Lalrinpuii, Leader of the Opposition Mr Lalchhandama Ralte, P&E Minister Mr F. Rodingliana, RD&A Minister Prof. Lalnilawma and other distinguished guests.

Mrs K. Lalrinzuali was born on July 11, 1966. She is an MA Gold Medallist in Public Administration. She joined the Mizoram Civil Service (MCS) in 1992 and was promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2019, allotted the AGMUT Cadre of 2010. She superannuated on July 31, 2026 while serving as Commissioner & Secretary of the Health & Family Welfare Department and the Power & Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram.

During her distinguished career in the Government of Mizoram, she held several important positions, including Deputy Commissioner of Lunglei District; Director of School Education and Higher & Technical Education and Secretary of District Council & Minority Affairs, Horticulture, Land Resources, Soil & Water Conservation, Disaster Management & Rehabilitation and Tourism.

She currently resides with her family at Chawnpui Veng, Aizawl.
