Lt. Gen. Rajeev Chaudhry, VSM, Director General of BRO calls on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati
Aizawl, the 4th April 2023: Lt. Gen. Rajeev Chaudhry, VSM, Director General of Border Roads Organisation(BRO) paid a courtesy call to Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan yesterday evening.
Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati thanked the DGBR and all ranks of Project Pushpak in Mizoram. He extended his support for the border road construction initiatives being taken up by the BRO. He also urged the BRO to work harder to finish their assigned projects within the stipulated time.
Lt. Gen. Rajeev Chaudhry, VSM, Director General, BRO apprised Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati about his visit to Champhai – Hnahlan – Khuangphah Road on April 2, 2023, where he interacted with the Deputy Commissioner of Champhai district and the local people of Ngur village. The DGBR also highlighted the plans for upcoming projects in Mizoram.
Earlier in the day, the DGBR met Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga. He also discussed with Chief Secretary Dr. Renu Sharma.
