Aizawl, the 30th July, 2026: Warm greetings to everyone on this special occasion – the 60th anniversary of All India Radio Aizawl.

For six decades, All India Radio has served the people with unwavering dedication, never missing a step in its commitment. It has long been a trusted source of both news and entertainment and it continues to play that vital role even today.

Since its inception, All India Radio has stood as a pillar of reliable information. Even during difficult periods, including Mizoram’s insurgency and other challenges, it remained steadfast in delivering accurate and dependable news. It has truly stood the test of time.

All India Radio is not just a broadcaster – it is also a guardian of our culture and traditions. While embracing modern technology, it has continued to reach people across generations. The station has also aired many episodes of Mann Ki Baat, through which Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji addresses the nation. Across the Northeast, radio is broadcast in numerous languages, making it equally meaningful in both cities and remote villages.

On this auspicious day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to all the staff of All India Radio Aizawl. Your dedication and service deserve the highest appreciation – a true Diamond Jubilee salute.
