    Pro.VC of IGNOU calls on Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati

    Aizawl, the 4th August 2023: Dr. Kiran Hazarika, Pro Vice Chancellor, IGNOU called on Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan, today.

    At the outset, Dr Kiran Hazarika briefed Governor about the inauguration of the new building of IGNOU, Aizawl Regional Centre. He shared new initiatives coming up under IGNOU which may benefit the students in Mizoram. He also asked for support from the Governor and his office for the introduction of Hindi propagation and learnings through IGNOU study centers in Mizoram. In this regard, Governor shared with the Pro Vice Chancellor of IGNOU about the positive attitudes of the Mizo youth in learning the Hindi Language. He also shared his view that If Hindi learning is introduced by IGNOU, it will not only be a successful program but it will be an advantage for the many talented youths of Mizoram for getting jobs across the country.
