The newly appointed Chancellor of ICFAI University Mizoram calls on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati
Aizawl, the 11th October 2022: The senior faculties of ICFAI Mizoram led by Prof. Haragopal Reddy, the newly appointed Chancellor of the university met Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan today.
The interaction began with the briefing of the Governor by the Chancellor of ICFAI Mizoram on several initiatives that are in the pipeline to get implemented shortly.
After the briefing, Governor shared his appreciation of the efforts made to improve the quality of teachings and courses offered at ICFAI Mizoram to be at the same level as some of the more established ICFAI universities in the country. He offered some suggestions of his own that he believed would improve the employability of the students from the ICFAI Mizoram campus. He advised the ICFAI Mizoram to invest more in providing better infrastructures which he believed is extremely vital for creating a better learning environment. Governor also advocated the introduction of more courses in skill development with a special focus on the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
Prof. RP Vadhera, Vice chancellor, Icfai University mizoram, Dr. Damodar Reddy, Director, icfai University coordination department and Dr. David Lawmzuala, Registrar, Icfai University Mizoram were also present at the meeting.
