Union MOS Ashwini Kumar Choubey calls on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati
Aizawl, the 21st November 2022: Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Environment, Forest and Climate Change called on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan, this evening.
Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati warmly welcomed Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State, and wished him to have fruitful discussions with the state officials on various agenda for the coming two days. Governor quickly briefed his esteemed guest on the undergoing important infrastructural projects and those to be commenced very shortly. The two exchanged important issues and topics about the developmental initiatives in the state. Governor also raised the issue of Forest Clearance that is hampering the commencement of the construction project of the National Institute of Technology(NIT).
The visiting Union Minister of State will be staying for two nights in the state capital. During his stay, the Union MOS will have separate official programs with the Assam Rifles, the Forest officials, and the Officials of FCS&CA and BIS. He will have an official meeting with Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga later on.
