    Aizawl, the 27th April 2022: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati interacted with Shri Vikas Mathur, Zonal Head and his supporting officers at the Raj Bhavan, this afternoon. In this meeting, the Governor was apprised of the bank’s operations within the state in general and some of its focused programs that would commence shortly in the state.

    Shri Vikas Mathur, Zonal Head of ICICI apprised Governor Hari Babu that the ICICI Bank is performing well in the state and is now in process of opening new branches outside the capital in addition to the existing three branches in Aizawl and one in Champhai. He said that ICICI Bank is fully committed to its social responsibilities. He also said that ICICI Bank had worked out a plan, through CSR to assist the beneficiaries in Poultry farming and other agriculture and allied activities.

    Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati congratulated the ICICI bank for its healthy progress in the state. At the same time, he urged ICICI banks in the state to do more in lending to the public, to do more in the provision of amenities and facilities that should be available to their customers elsewhere. He requested the Bank officials to create more awareness for their savings bank account holders on all the available central welfare schemes that can be subscribed through the banks.

    Shri Vikas Mathur was accompanied by Shri Partha Das, Regional Head and other ICICI Bank officers in Aizawl.
